Some more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modernhumorist.com\/mh\/0006\/anagram2\/\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modernhumorist.com\/mh\/0009\/anagram3\/\">here<\/a>. I especially enjoyed Eliot, Dickinson, and William Carlos Williams. The WCW parody made me giggle out loud. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p>Here are a couple of my favourite poems from February&#8217;s <em>Snakeskin<\/em>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simmers1.webspace.virginmedia.com\/193fat.html\">Fat<\/a> by Beccy Pert: such luscious language. And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simmers1.webspace.virginmedia.com\/193house.html\">House without Windows<\/a> by Grace Andreacchi is absolutely gorgeous! <\/p>\n<p>A story: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lightspeedmagazine.com\/fiction\/hwangs-billion-brilliant-daughters\/\">Hwang&#8217;s Billion Brilliant Daughters<\/a> by Alice Sola Kim. A different kind of time travel. <\/p>\n<p><b>ETA: <\/b>And some nonfiction too: Eleanor Arnason writes about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.strangehorizons.com\/2013\/20130121\/arnason-c.shtml\">authenticity, cultural appropriation, and writing outside your own experiences in sf\/f<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>Also, today I sat down to write an all-new short story and actually finished the first draft in one go! First prose piece of the year, incidentally. And wonder of wonders, it&#8217;s actually <em>short<\/em>, too. My stories have the tendency to expand, but this one stayed at around 2000 words. Huzzah! It&#8217;s about an alchemist bartender, and I rather like it.
