As I think I mentioned here before, my poem <a href=\"http:\/\/throughthegate.net\/issue4-august2013\/norja-boat.html\">&#8220;Boat-husk&#8221;<\/a> in <em>Through the Gate<\/em> is also set in that world. As is my (terrible zero draft of a) 2014 Nanowrimo novel. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Ruin&#8221; was one of the pieces inspired by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/awesomer\/the-33-most-beautiful-abandoned-places-in-the-world#.mdjxBxVjq\">abandoned places pictures<\/a> that I wrote a post about. In particular, <a href=\"http:\/\/leiraenkai.deviantart.com\/art\/quot-There-s-still-life-there-quot-216742928\">this picture<\/a> (i.e. the picture above).
